Hello! My name is Caitlin Johnson. I am an Army wife, stay-at-home mom, and grad student at the University of Florida. [[GO GATORS!]] I was born and raised in Gainesville, FL…certified ACR (Alachua County Resident). In 2011, my husband entered the US Army as an Armor Officer, and so far we have called three states “home.” Currently, we are stationed at Fort Campbell, KY but reside in Clarksville, TN. I love leaving little pieces of my heart in different states, but I do miss Florida. The Sunshine State will always be home to me.
I am studying to become a professional graphic & web designer. I graduated from Saint Leo University in 2010, with a BA in Business Administration and Management. Ever since then I had been contemplating going back to school to study something that would appeal to my creative side. I have always been intrigued by all things art: dance, drawing, painting, sculpting, abstract, and digital art. Since reentering school, I have become so passionate about graphic arts. There is so much that goes into each decision; it’s so much more than just making things “look pretty,” and I can geek out about it all day!
While I don’t currently have professional experience in the field, I have been so blessed to be asked to help the media team at Bethel Community Church (my local church family). I have been eagerly working on several projects for them, and enjoying the opportunity to collaborate in a professional atmosphere.
When I am not studying or working on projects, I love spending time with my family and friends, napping with my bulldog, sewing & embroidering, DIY crafts, practicing yoga, and traveling.
